Consolidating its reputation as a leading professional international trade show for Wines and Spirits, OENOTELIA 2018 has reported a significant amount of targeted contacts between wine producers and world-class buyers, as well as representatives from the Greek organized retail, foodservice and hotel industry. As a result, OENOTELIA has once again achieved its goal of showcasing and promoting both the food and wine culture, and has confirmed its status as the premier distribution channel for Wine & Spirits producers wishing to penetrate the global market.
With the participation of more than 146 wine and traditional spirits producers and trading companies, OENOTELIA presented the thousands of Greek and international visitors—namely, OENOTELIA 2018 secured in the show’s Hosted Buyer program the presence of 75 international wine importers, who held over 2,500 B2B meetings with exhibitors—with the chance to taste more than 1,500 wines and to meet up with established and up and coming producers.
Furthermore, in order to meet the growing interest of the wine sector for OENOTELIA 2018, the organizing company has secured more than twice the surface area for the devel-opment of exhibitors, in Hall 1 of the Metropolitan Expo exhibition center.
