FOOD EXPO 2018 has once again been an unrivaled success, giving tangible shape to the aspirations of the food industry. The numbers don’t lie; 1,152 exhibitors from Greece and 150 from another 22 countries, 55,000 sq.m. of exhibition space, and 2,930 international visitors of whom 800 key food traders were included in the FOOD EXPO Hosted Buyer program and attended more than 15,000 pre-arranged B2B meetings with exhibitors, attest to the truly international status of FOOD EXPO 2018 and confirm its place as the principal F&B trade show in Southeast Europe.
More than 68,000 professionals visited FOOD EXPO 2018 from March 10 to 12! The exhibition phenomenon that in more than 5 years has more than doubled its size, defending its international reputation, managed to make it possible for another year! It mobilized tens of thousands of food traders from all over the country and attracted more than 2,900 international buyers from around the world at the largest international food and beverage trade fair in Greece and across the Southeast Europe!
The tremendous success of FOOD EXPO demonstrates the need for a robust exhibition of Greek food and beverages and confirms the growing interest of large markets for our agro-food products. Apart from the 800 foreign buyers whose visit was subsidized by the organizing company as part of the hosted buyers program of the exhibition, another 2,130 key international buyers traveled to Greece to visit FOOD EXPO and get to know the main product wealth of domestic primary production and processing through the stands of more than 1,000 Greek exhibitors.
At the same time, Greek and foreign business visitors had the chance to discover the culinary product mosaic of 150 foreign exhibitors from 22 countries, the largest international participation that FOOD EXPO has hosted so far!

Thanks to the perfect organisation, the big advertising campaign that preceded it and its targeted promotional activities, FOOD EXPO 2018 managed to increase its quantitative and qualitative superiority, surpassing any previous record of traffic.

The FOOD EXPO exhibition, having "built" a targeted brand with a strong brand name abroad, managed to attract more than 2,900 foreign buyers from 74 markets around the world. Thus, it has provided an important outlet to the extroversion of Greek businesses, which is now more necessary than ever before, enabling not only large but also small and medium-sized enterprises to get in touch with important foreign buyers, chat with them and make in direct commercial agreements.
